About Wolf
Wolf Carr has been teaching and performing in the Pacific Northwest for more than 22 years and is currently based in Portland, OR. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied vocal pedagogy and composition, and his principle instrument was voice. He is the son of acclaimed vocal coach, Susan M.Carr.
Wolf has extensive experience performing and recording music in Boston, Seattle and Portland. He has been a member of numerous bands, including Wesafari, the Jen Wood Band, I am the Internet, Pilgrimage, and Brood, Pizza Party (a collaboration with his daughter) and has recorded with numerous other projects as well. His latest musical project is Gabadon.
Wolf studied with celebrated vocal teachers Matt Edwards, Charles Sorrento, Marlon Saunders, Anne Peckham, and Susan Carr. He has taught members of many local and national acts, including: Sleater Kinney, Modest Mouse, The Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bear, Waxahatchee, Kevin Morby, Yacht, Yob, Snail Mail, The Decemberists and many more. Wolf is featured in the I-Phone app “The Art of Screaming.”
